The King has Come

We mark a significant transition in Matthew’s gospel - the King has arrived in Jerusalem! Jesus triumphantly enters Jerusalem to shouts of praise and blessing from the people. By the end of this week, the people will be shouting for His execution by crucifixion. However, we focus today on Jesus as king of His people and will look at several ways the Lord Jesus Christ functions as king over His people.
