Sympathy for Pilate

Another central character in the crucifixion story is the Roman Governor, Pontius Pilate. While Judas gives us a picture of the insidious nature of secret sin, Pilate is a picture of failure when we fear man. We’ll look at this scene and the principles we glean for ourselves as disciples of Jesus in our world today.
