Praying, Go as Jesus Does

Much of what Jesus teaches us in Matthew 10 is a challenge to the comfortable Christianity many of us desire. It’s not enjoyable to be rejected, ridiculed, or roughed up. Yet, that’s exactly what Jesus says His followers can expect. Jesus authoritatively commissions and confidently sends out His disciples with His gospel message. He is the Lord of the Harvest and chapter 10 begins to outline what the workers in the harvest can expect. Our text is Matthew 10:1-15.
