Pray for Betty Reimer, Ronnie and Becky Reimer and the rest of the Reimer family as Ron Reimer passed away yesterday (Tuesday). Pray for the Lord's peace and comfort to rest upon Betty and the family. Services are being planned.
Pray for Brad Fast and family on the death of his mother, Doris, who passed away Sunday, December 29th. There will be a graveside service at the Reedley Cemetery on Monday, January 13th, at 10am
Please pray for Jacqueline Hernandez as she awaits a decision regarding her continued education. Also pray for wisdom and guidance in parenting.
Be in prayer for Johnny Heinrichs, Sheri Balakian, and Sandi Beckenhauer as Maxine Heinrichs passed away on December 31. A memorial service will be held at RMBC on Monday, January 13th at 10:30am.
Parkway Ministry Needs - The Parkway Ministry Team is gearing up for their next outreach January 11. They will meet during the day and set up tables and chairs in one of the empty lots to serve cookies, hot cocoa, and miscellaneous items for winter to the people in the area. Last year was a big hit! They had many women (and children) as well as men asking for prayer and great conversations about God. They are looking for the following items: Cookies/Bars (easy to grab single servings) unisex gloves, and warm socks. Please drop off your donations in the church office as soon as possible.
Our Missionaries of the Week are Paul and Margie Varberg, missionaries to the Waray people of the Philippines, They are working with First Love International Ministry in Loves, Illinois. With God's help they have successfully started the Tacloban Bible Community Church, the InGen campus ministry and the Bethel International School. Paul is currently leading a team that is making a translation of the Bible into contemporary Waray for the younger generation. Two editions of the New Testament have already been published, but it will be four or five years before the Old Testament is completed. They have requested prayer for skilled and godly teachers for the Bethel International School. Funds are needed to complete the new building so that Bethel can have two classes at each grade level. Pray that there will be a higher percentage of students trusting in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Paul and Margie thank you for your prayers and financial support.
