Prayer Line for December 9, 2024
"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31
From Bryan and Heather Regier: "On behalf of my family, I would like to thank all our church member friends that have carried us through in prayer and loving support through my heart ordeal and recovery. Even though recovery is slower than anticipated, we give praise to our God and Savior who is tender towards our needs and has shown great mercy through church members and non-believing medical workers that were unaware of God sovereign hand and will. You were all part of the plan of our Savior! Many of you were praying for Heather as she shouldered the load, even through her disability. Heather and I found there is much strength in our church as we found refuge in prayer and support. We are blessed people indeed. We personally thank everyone. Blessings this Holiday season!"
Be in prayer for Kathleen Heinrichs as she is having a heart valve replacement surgery today. Pray for the Lord's peace and quick healing for Kathleen.
Parkway Ministry Needs - The Parkway Ministry Team is gearing up for their next outreach December 14, 1-4pm. They will meet during the day and set up tables and chairs in one of the empty lots to serve cookies, hot cocoa, and miscellaneous items for winter to the people in the area. Last year was a big hit! They had many women (and children) as well as men asking for prayer and great conversations about God. They are looking for the following items: Cookies/Bars (easy to grab single servings) unisex gloves, and warm socks. Please drop off your donations in the church office as soon as possible.
Our Missionaries of the Week are the RMBC team going to Fullerton, CA for Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan's purse Relief Organization. The group of volunteers will be inspecting and packing each shoe box that will be sent abroad. RMBC will be sending 1500 boxes. The Fullerton center will be handling the shoe boxes from the west coast. pray for the group for safe travel to Fullerton, stamina for the job at hand, and a wonderful time of fellowship with many volunteers. Thank you RMBC for all your support and prayers in the wonderful project promoting the Gospel to the children around the world.
