Praying for our People
Please pray for the family of Bev Nikkel who passed away April 29th. Private family services are being planned.
You're invited to an Open House Retirement Party at Palm Village for David Reimer, CEO of Palm Village, Monday, May 8, 6:30-8pm. David served for over 30 years. Appetizers and Desserts will be served.
Pray for the family of Sam Bergen. Sam went home to Jesus on Friday, April 14th. His Memorial Service will be Monday, May 22nd at 2:30pm in the Sanctuary.
Please pray for Carlos Gutierrez and his family as his brother, Adam passed away April 17th. Adam's service will be Tuesday, May 9th, at 10am in the "Old" St. Anthony's Church in Reedley.
Pray also for Anita Anderson who was diagnosed with cancer. Pray for direction as she begins treatment.
Missionary of the Week - Ministry on Parkway Drive, led by members from RMBC Janel Neufeld and Kim Koop. This is a group of committed Christians, many from RMBC, that go out on the streets of Fresno to talk and pray with girls and women working the streets. The group has been ministering on the second Friday of each month. Because the Parkway’s landscape has changed dramatically with many buildings being taken out, the number of girls and women working the streets has decreased. In April the group did not go out. They are seeking discernment on whether to stay on Parkway Drive or seek a new area. Pray for the efforts to begin a training session for new volunteers and current volunteers to occur soon; that God will stir up interest, especially men, to rise up and want to join; and that the police officers that the group have been in contact with will remain supportive to this group’s ministry. Janel and Kim thank you for your prayers and support.
