Race & the Gospel

Even a passing glance at recent headlines tells us all that our country and our world is chaotically turbulent. The pain of injustice, the continuing scourge of racism, speaks to the ever-present need to be peacemakers and speak reconciliation to our world. These are some of the core issues the Scripture confronts us with. We’ll look today at how the cross of Jesus is what makes humanity level before one another, at the Bible’s call to reconciliation through Christ alone with all people, and our responsibility as Christians to be on the front lines of taking that uniquely saving message to our world.
