Prayer Line for June 11-14, 2026

Pray for the family of Gordon Turner as Gordon went home to be with the Lord on Sunday night.  Pray for God's peace and comfort for his wife Yvonne, and their family during this difficult time.  The memorial service for Gordon will be June 29 at 10:00 AM at RMBC.  

Pray for the family of Johnny Buhler as Johnny recently went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for his wife Maryann and their family during this difficult time.  The graveside service for Johnny will be June 13 at 9:00 AM at the Reedley Cemetery.  

Pray for the family of Carolyn Rosser, as Carolyn recently went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for God's peace and comfort for her husband Jerry and the family during this difficult time.

Continue to pray for the family of Dan Ascanio, as Dan recently went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for God's peace and comfort for his wife Pam, and his daughters Anna and Sadie and their husbands and families during this difficult time of loss.  

Pray for Ted Nickel who is back at Palm Village recovering from a stroke.  Pray for his strength and peace, and for his wife Rosalie as she stands by his side.

Pray for Anna Marie Friesen as she recovers from surgery on her leg due to a break of her her tibia and fibula.

Pray for Rachel Boldt who is at Palm Village, recovering from surgery on her right hip.

Pray for Jeff Noorigian as he recovers from surgery on his humerus as well as from some fractures on his vertebrae.

Pray for Kathy Thiessen's grandson Owen as he finishes up with the YWAM team outreach in South America this week.   They will return to the Norway base to debrief and receive a little more training, and he will fly home about mid June.  He has been blessed knowing our church has been praying for him and his team!  

This week, we are highlighting Mandi Hiett, who is serving with Students International. Mandi will be relocating to Nicaragua to work in a physical therapy clinic as a long-term mission worker with the organization. She departs on June 15 for a 2-3 month language course in Guatemala before arriving in Nicaragua. Please keep her in your prayers as she navigates numerous goodbyes, transitions, and adjustments in the coming months. Let us also celebrate the incredible ways the Lord has prepared her for this journey! Mandi’s prayer requests: Quick language acquisition, safety during travel, smooth logistics for her arrival and settling in Nicaragua, and protection against any attacks from the enemy on the work God is doing through Mandi.

Wanda and Dan Doerksen would like to thank the body of Christ for the prayers and support for Dan over the past 5 months.  They are convinced God's healing touch and His people's prayers made the difference in Dan's healing.  His recovery is not yet complete, but they are so thankful and blessed to be this far along.  God is good!

The Chavez family has been back in Peru for four months. Please keep them in your prayers as Joshua and Samuel start a new school year and adapt to life with Isaac living away from home. They are actively partnering with local churches, supporting ministries, and fostering relationships through hospitality and community engagement. Maricela is dedicating more time to women’s ministry and is planning a women’s retreat in November. Please pray for Isaac's transition to college and for God's provision of a reliable vehicle within budget.

Pray for Bob Hilts and Sam Estes as they have served in Mongolia and, returning today, May 28.  

Our Missionaries of the week are Ricky and Karen Sanchez, serving with Abundant Life Home in Thailand. Please pray for Bang, Peter, and Ram as they begin another semester of Bible college, asking God to give them clear direction for future ministry. Pray also for our Global Sports basketball teams traveling to Vietnam and Thailand this summer to share the Good News. Please pray for two new boys at ALH, D Max and Weer, and for Olive, a young woman recently rescued from the sex trade. Ricky and Karen thank you, Reedley MB, for your continued prayers, support, and for sending teams to serve alongside us in Thailand. We are grateful to partner together in seeing the Gospel go forward and Thai believers raised up as pastors, church planters, and leaders.

Our Missionary of the Week is Carmen Owen. Carmen shares the following. "Praise God for the growth of His church in Chiang Mai, Thailand, through Siriwan, Wichian, and the Naomi House community. I am grateful for your prayers during my visit in January. While I was there, the Thailand Friends of Naomi House Foundation was officially established after over a year of anticipation, and we were able to make a down payment on the land we have been praying for. We also celebrated providing Bibles for every child and many of the men attending church—so many came that we quickly ran out! Over 100 people registered for the Naomi House Family Camp in March. God is indeed at work, and we give Him all the glory. Please pray as I help lead a Multiply ACTION team of 14 to Thailand in June, that God would be glorified and hearts would be inspired to follow Jesus boldly. Thank you, Reedley MB family, for your steadfast prayers and partnership.

Prayer Line for May 4, 2026

"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31

Let us also remember the words of Ephesians 3:21, which proclaims the main purpose of the church: "To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.  Amen."

Pray for the family of Gayle McCutchen who went home to be with the Lord on April 1st.  Pray especially for her children: Mike, Mark, and Patty during this difficult time.  The memorial service will be at Sierra View, in the Kings Canyon Room, on Friday, May 15th, at 1pm.

Pray for the family of Peter Loewen as Peter recently went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for peace and strength for Peter's sister Susan Murphy and her husband Mark, and for the entire family during this difficult time.

Pray for Trista Brown as she continues to recover from an infection in her Medi-port.  Pray for quick healing, for strength, and that the peace of God will sustain Trista during this difficult season of going through  breast cancer treatments.  Pray also for her husband Josh, and their two daughters during this difficult time as a family.

Pray for Sharon Fulcher as she continues to recover at Palm Village.  Pray for her strength, and for her peace during this time.

Our missionaries of the week are M&C, serving in a restricted access country. Key points for prayer include: Guidance for purchasing property for a demonstration farm after setbacks. Completion of the remaining 25% of their fundraising goal. Favor in an unreached area resistant to foreigners. Protection and health for the team, especially those with young children. Prayer Line for April 29 - May 3, 2026

Pray for the family of Peter Loewen as Peter went home to be with the Lord on Saturday.  Pray for peace and strength for Peter's sister Susan Murphy and her husband Mark, and for the entire family during this difficult time.  A private graveside service will be held for immediate family, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Pray for Savahna Pacheco as her daughter Bella Rae was in the hospital due to some respiratory viruses.  Praise God that Bella Rae has been released from Valley Children's Hospital.  Pray for Bella Rae's recovery, and for Savahna and Michael as they care for her.

Congratulations to Brooke and Caleb Pauls on welcoming their daughter, Laine Alexandra, who was born on Saturday, April 4th. The proud grandparents are Dustin and Laura Pauls, along with Cris and Lori Hatch.

This week, we highlight Bob Hilts and Sam Estes who will be heading out for Mongolia to lead a conference for leadership to help new churches planted there. Fourteen years ago Bob was teaching leadership development in Siberia when one of his students, a Mongolian, asked him to come to his country and teach some new believers. After God provided $45,000 to complete this three year course, Bob began teaching 35 promising young believers. Now today, God has given 3,500 believers and 27 new churches. These churches are requesting help on issues related to fast growth and problems they are facing. Please pray for safe travels for Bob and Sam. Pray that God leads them to equip, build up and encourage these churches!

God has enabled them to use their skills to support campers, offering parents facing disabilities fellowship, Biblical teaching, and respite. Their kindness and care have spread Jesus' love to campers. Please pray that these missionaries continue sharing Jesus' love and truth daily and that their camp experiences encourage them to befriend those different from themselves, seeing others with Jesus' heart.
