Prayer Line for April 29 - May 3, 2026

"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31

Let us also remember the words of Ephesians 3:21, which proclaims the main purpose of the church: "To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.  Amen."

Pray for the family of Peter Loewen as Peter went home to be with the Lord on Saturday.  Pray for peace and strength for Peter's sister Susan Murphy and her husband Mark, and for the entire family during this difficult time.  A private graveside service will be held for immediate family, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Pray for Savahna Pacheco as her daughter Bella Rae was in the hospital due to some respiratory viruses.  Praise God that Bella Rae has been released from Valley Children's Hospital.  Pray for Bella Rae's recovery, and for Savahna and Michael as they care for her.

Pray for Trista Brown who is home, recovering from an infection in her Medi-port.  Pray for quick healing, for strength, and that the peace of God will sustain Trista during this difficult season of going through  breast cancer treatments.  Pray also for her husband Josh, and their two daughters during this difficult time as a family.

Pray for Sharon Fulcher as she continues to recover at Palm Village.  Pray for her strength, and for her peace during this time.

Pray for Doug Fowler's continued recovery and strength at Palm Village, and for his wife Ruth as she stands by his side.

Pray for Kathy Thiessen's grandson Owen Thiessen who is serving with YWAM in Africa for the month of April.  Pray for his safety, for effective ministry, for joy, and for peace.

Congratulations to Brooke and Caleb Pauls on welcoming their daughter, Laine Alexandra, who was born on Saturday, April 4th. The proud grandparents are Dustin and Laura Pauls, along with Cris and Lori Hatch.

This week, we highlight Bob Hilts and Sam Estes who will be heading out for Mongolia to lead a conference for leadership to help new churches planted there. Fourteen years ago Bob was teaching leadership development in Siberia when one of his students, a Mongolian, asked him to come to his country and teach some new believers. After God provided $45,000 to complete this three year course, Bob began teaching 35 promising young believers. Now today, God has given 3,500 believers and 27 new churches. These churches are requesting help on issues related to fast growth and problems they are facing. Please pray for safe travels for Bob and Sam. Pray that God leads them to equip, build up and encourage these churches!

Their kindness and care have spread Jesus' love to campers. Please pray that these missionaries continue sharing Jesus' love and truth daily and that their camp experiences encourage them to befriend those different from themselves, seeing others with Jesus' heart.

Pray for Savahna Pacheco's daughter Bella Rae who is at Valley Children's hospital due to seizures.  Pray for little Bella Rae's recovery, and for peace and strength for Savahna and her husband as they care for Bella Rae.

Pray for the family of Marlow Ens, as Marlow recently went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for his wife Rachel, and their family during this difficult time. The memorial service for Marlow will be April 17 at 10:30 AM at Palm Village.

Continue to pray for Immanuel School as they grieve the passing of Gio, a freshman student who recently passed away.  Pray for Gio's family during this very difficult time, and pray for the staff and students at Immanuel.  Gio's memorial service was held last week at RMBC, and we praise God that several people called on Jesus for salvation!

Praise God for His working in the life of Marlan Huebert, as there is currently no detectable cancer in his body!  Continue to pray for him as he regains strength from his surgery.    

Praise God that the tumor on Jason and Brittney Nix's daughter, Rylee's right lung is benign.  Doctors will continue to monitor her, but we rejoice that Rylee is doing well.  Rylee is granddaughter to Diana Nix.

We are looking forward to celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ at our Easter Service this coming Sunday.  It will be a time of rejoicing as we worship our risen King, and a time of celebration as several people will be baptized.  Join us at 9:00 AM for the service with fellowship and cafe following.

Missionary of the Week:
Our Missionaries of the Week are Tomas and Melody Vidal, serving with Multiply. They are the directors of the Matthew Training Center in Guadalajara, Mexico and serve alongside a team to train disciples and leaders to share the gospel. Here are some of their prayer requests:
1. HADIME Rooted program from July to December. We have some people signed up, but are looking for more participants. Corinna from Canada is here learning Spanish hoping to be fluent enough and raise enough finances for the program in July.
2. HADIME Mas program the first 3 weeks in July. Enrique and Jocelyn have been leaders in training the last couple of years and will be running the program along with 3 other leaders in training. They are off to a good start in the planning stages.
3. Tomas in his studies-year 2 of his master’s degree. May it be a great blessing to the Matthew Training Center and our church conference.
4. Praise God for providing a new 15 passenger van!
5. Raising up new leaders. For Samuel starting seminary this year. Sandra and Didier, missionaries who initially came as volunteers, are leading the 6 month discipleship program with us this year. Pray for discernment for them as they decide what is next for them in 2027, whether continuing at Matthew Training Center or serving elsewhere.

Prayer Line for March 26 - 29, 2026

"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31

Pray for the family of Jacob Hiebert, who went home to be with the Lord on Saturday.  Pray for God's comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Pray for Immanuel School as they grieve the passing of Gio, a freshman student who recently passed away.  Pray for Gio's family during this very difficult time, and pray for the staff and students at Immanuel.  Gio's memorial service was held Tuesday at RMBC and we praise God that several people called on Jesus for salvation!

Pray for Doug Fowler who has been admitted to the hospital.  Pray for the doctors as they treat him, for his strength and recovery, and for his wife Ruth as she stands by his side.

Pray for Brad Fast as he will be going to San Francisco where he will undergo another surgery.  Pray for the doctors, for Brad's strength and recovery, and for Mary as she stands by his side.

Pray for Josh and Trista Brown and their family as Trista will begin chemotherapy for breast cancer this week.  Pray for her and their family as she undergoes treatment and as they go through this difficult time as a family.

Praise the Lord for the birth of Nissi Marie, born to Kelyn and Marissa Vix on March 23. Grandparents are Marlin and Michelle Hiett and Nancy Neufeld.   Pray for Kelyn and Marissa as they adjust to life with a newborn daughter.  

Continue to pray for Kelyn and Allison Schellenberg as they adjust to life with a newborn as their son Weston was born March 12.

Pray for Sharon Fulcher as she recovers from being in the hospital due to blood infections.

Pray for Sonia Sanchez who is home after being in the hospital.  Pray for her recovery and for continued pain management.

Pray for Jason and Brittney Nix, and for their daughter Rylee who has a mass on her right lung.  Doctors have determined that the mass is likely not neuroblastoma, but they are continuing to run tests to determine the nature of the mass. Pray for continued wisdom for the doctors, for peace for little Rylee, for her parents, and for her grandmother Diana Nix.

Pray for Roxanne Parker's husband Dave, who is recovering from quadruple bypass surgery.

Pray for Ruth Liebelt as she recovers from a  back injury.

Missionary of the Week:
This week, we are excited to spotlight Sydney Friesen, who will be traveling to Uganda with a team of eight women during spring break. They will be serving at Amani Baby Cottage, a local orphanage, where their efforts will include supporting the staff by bringing donations, entertaining the children, and sharing the light of Jesus. Please join us in prayer, asking God to prepare the hearts of the team for service and to ensure safe travels. Additionally, a team of nine individuals, primarily from Reedley MB, will be participating in the Joni and Friends Family Retreat as Short-Term Missionaries. This group will depart next Sunday for Wonder Valley, where they will serve Jesus at a camp designed to share the gospel and demonstrate His love to families experiencing disabilities. The team includes Felicity, Hudson, and Verity Edmonds, Vianna Honorato, Rebekah Lehrman, Jesse Warkentin, Yu-Liang Chu, Abbi Nippoldt, and Christa Scott. Please pray for their good health and energy during the long days ahead, for patience and sensitivity in their interactions with campers and their families, and for abundant joy as they serve and love selflessly, just as Jesus did.

Prayer Line UPDATE for March 21 - 22, 2026

Pray for Brad Fast who is the hospital due to a fever.  Pray for the doctors as they run tests and treat him, and for Brad's strength and recovery during this time.

Each Student International participant works alongside a full-time missionary who dedicates their year to sharing Christ through vocational ministry. They are seeking prayer in the following areas:
1.For God's protection as hundreds of students travel with us this month across Latin America.
2.That the students' lives would be transformed as they experience a greater understanding of God and the vast world He has created. 3.For God's wisdom to guide our leadership team, which oversees the thousands of students and community members we impact each year.
