Prayer Line for July 2, 2026

"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31

Let us also remember the words of Ephesians 3:21, which proclaims the main purpose of the church: "To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.  Amen."

Continue to pray for the family of Carolyn Rosser who recently went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for the Lord's comfort and peace for her husband Jerry and the entire family.  The memorial service for Carolyn will be July 15 at 10:00 AM at RMBC.  

Continue to pray for Rachel Boldt who is at Palm Village, recovering from surgery on her right hip.

The Sanctuary remodel is off to a great start, and we look forward to worship this coming Sunday as we gather in the Student Center.  There will be two identical worship services at 8:30 and 10:45 AM,

Prayer Line for July 30, 2026

Continue to pray for the family of Peter Loewen who recently went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for the Lord's comfort and peace for Peter's sister Susan Murphy and her husband Mark.  The memorial service for Peter will be July 2 at 10:00 AM at RMBC.

Pray for the family of Gordon Turner as Gordon recently went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for God's peace and comfort for his wife Yvonne, and their family during this difficult time.  The memorial service for Gordon will be June 29 at 10:00 AM at RMBC.

Pray for Kathy Thiessen's grandson Owen as he finishes up with the YWAM team outreach in South America this week.   They will return to the Norway base to debrief and receive a little more training, and he will fly home about mid June.  He has been blessed knowing our church has been praying for him and his team!  

This week, we are highlighting Mandi Hiett, who is serving with Students International. Mandi will be relocating to Nicaragua to work in a physical therapy clinic as a long-term mission worker with the organization. She departs on June 15 for a 2-3 month language course in Guatemala before arriving in Nicaragua. Please keep her in your prayers as she navigates numerous goodbyes, transitions, and adjustments in the coming months. Let us also celebrate the incredible ways the Lord has prepared her for this journey! Mandi’s prayer requests: Quick language acquisition, safety during travel, smooth logistics for her arrival and settling in Nicaragua, and protection against any attacks from the enemy on the work God is doing through Mandi.

This week, we are highlighting Mandi Hiett, who is serving with Students International. Mandi will be relocating to Nicaragua to work in a physical therapy clinic as a long-term mission worker with the organization. She departs on June 15 for a 2-3 month language course in Guatemala before arriving in Nicaragua. Please keep her in your prayers as she navigates numerous goodbyes, transitions, and adjustments in the coming months. Let us also celebrate the incredible ways the Lord has prepared her for this journey! Mandi’s prayer requests: Quick language acquisition, safety during travel, smooth logistics for her arrival and settling in Nicaragua, and protection against any attacks from the enemy on the work God is doing through Mandi.

Pray for the family of Gordon Turner as Gordon went home to be with the Lord on Sunday night.  Pray for God's peace and comfort for his wife Yvonne, and their family during this difficult time.  

Pray for the family of Johnny Buhler as Johnny recently went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for his wife Maryann and their family during this difficult time.  The memorial service for Johnny will be June 11 at 10:00 AM at RMBC, and the graveside service will be June 13 at 9:00 AM at the Reedley Cemetery.

Pray for the family of Johnny Buhler as Johnny went home to be with the Lord last week.  Pray that the Lord's peace and comfort would surround his wife Maryann and their family during this difficult time.  The memorial service for Johnny will be June 11 at 10:00 AM at RMBC, and the graveside service will be June 13 at 9:00 AM at the Reedley Cemetery.

The Chavez family has been back in Peru for four months. Please keep them in your prayers as Joshua and Samuel start a new school year and adapt to life with Isaac living away from home. They are actively partnering with local churches, supporting ministries, and fostering relationships through hospitality and community engagement. Maricela is dedicating more time to women’s ministry and is planning a women’s retreat in November. Please pray for Isaac's transition to college and for God's provision of a reliable vehicle within budget.

Prayer Line  for May 18, 2026

"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31

Let us also remember the words of Ephesians 3:21, which proclaims the main purpose of the church: "To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.  Amen."

Pray for the family of Dan Ascanio, as Dan went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 16.  Pray especially for his wife Pam, and his daughters Anna and Sadie and their husbands and families during this very difficult time of loss.  

Pray for the family of Peter Loewen as Peter recently went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for peace and strength for Peter's sister Susan Murphy and her husband Mark, and for the entire family during this difficult time.

Janet Laemmlen would like to express her gratitude for the prayer and support from the church.  She is praising God that her chemo treatment is over, and is trusting in the Lord for other treatments ahead!

Praise God for the birth Cooper Christian Ward, born to Hunter and Justine Ward on Saturday, May 9.  Praise God that Cooper is now home!  Pray for Hunter and Justine as they care for little Cooper and adjust to life with a newborn.

Praise God for the birth of Amelia Jane Krahn, born to Noah and Bailey Krahn on Monday, May 11.  Pray for Noah and Bailey as they care for little Amelia and adjust to life with a newborn.  

Pray for Bob Hilts and Sam Estes as they are in Mongolia, returning on May 28.  Pray for them as they minster the gospel, and lead a conference for leadership development.  Pray also for their safety in travels and health.  

Our international workers for missionary of the week are R&F, serving in a restricted area. Please continue to pray for them as they minister in challenging geographic and spiritual conditions. They are also responding to those affected by floods and war. Our Missionary of the Week is Carmen Owen. Carmen shares the following. "Praise God for the growth of His church in Chiang Mai, Thailand, through Siriwan, Wichian, and the Naomi House community. I am grateful for your prayers during my visit in January. While I was there, the Thailand Friends of Naomi House Foundation was officially established after over a year of anticipation, and we were able to make a down payment on the land we have been praying for. We also celebrated providing Bibles for every child and many of the men attending church—so many came that we quickly ran out! Over 100 people registered for the Naomi House Family Camp in March. God is indeed at work, and we give Him all the glory. Please pray as I help lead a Multiply ACTION team of 14 to Thailand in June, that God would be glorified and hearts would be inspired to follow Jesus boldly. Thank you, Reedley MB family, for your steadfast prayers and partnership.
