Prayer Line for August 17, 2026
"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31
Let us also remember the words of Ephesians 3:21, which proclaims the main purpose of the church: "To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
Pray for the family and friends of Sharon Fulcher, as Sharon went home to be with the Lord Tuesday morning. Pray for the Lord's peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Continue to pray those who have recently lost loved ones. Pray for peace and comfort for Olivia Atalima as her sister Analise recently passed away. Pray for peace and comfort for Karen Wiebe and family as her brother Roger Wall recently passed away. The service for Roger will be August 22 at 10:00 AM at Smith's Ferry Park in Reedley, located at the corner of Olson and Reed.
Pray for the Lord's healing and peace for Dennis Friesen as he is receiving hospice care at home. Pray for strength and peace for his wife Colleen as she stands by his side, and pray for his family as they provide support and care for him.
Pray for Dennis Fast as he recovers from a heart ablation early today (Monday).
Pray for Joella Reimer who is recovering from a pacemaker procedure.
Pray for Sandy Marshall's mom, Kathleen Heinrichs as she recovers from a stroke.
Pray for Bryan and Juli Hofer and their boys, Daniel and Jonathan. Pray for Daniel as he is recovers from an illness, and pray for Jonathan as he recovers from surgery. Pray that God's peace will cover this family and for God's hand of healing and recovery for Daniel and Jonathan.
Kathy Thiessen and her grandson Owen would like to thank the church for praying for him and his team with YWAM earlier this year. They were sent to Africa and South America on outreaches and had amazing experiences there sharing Jesus and encouraging other nationals to consider full time missions. He returned to the Norway base August 5th for a 2 year commitment as a leader for new teams. Please pray for spiritual and physical protection and for a tremendous time of growth.
As Catherine leaves for Asia as a Global Partner, she would appreciate your prayers for her. Please pray that she will continually know His word, that she will glorify God through encouraging local brothers and sisters in Christ, and that she will share and demonstrate the gospel boldly and confidently. Pray for wisdom, discernment, courage, steadfast strength and dependence on the Lord as she works with orphans with a wide range of disabilities and with the caregivers and staff to support their physical needs. Also pray for her during these transitions, continual language learning, health, and safety.
