Prayer Line for September 23, 2025

"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31

Pray for Donna Dee Weems and her family as her sister, Judy (Colvin) Janssen passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning.  Pray for God's comfort for Nat and Donna Dee, as well as for safety as they travel this weekend to Red Wing Minnesota.  Pray that they will be the face of Jesus for family and friends during this difficult time.  The memorial prayer service will be on Monday at 5:30 pm Central Time.

Pray for Julia Choy who will have surgery on Wednesday to remove skin cancer from her right foot.  Pray also for her as she has an infection in the skin graft on her left ankle which is quite painful.

Shane Pinkard had to go to the ER on Sunday due to unexplained pain.  Praise God that his pain was not due to a serious complication, that he was released from ER that same day, and is feeling much better.

Continue to pray for the family of Gary Gerbrandt, as Gary went home to be with his Lord and Savior.  Pray for comfort and for the planning of his service.

Pray for Audrey Ripley, Todd Sorensen's mother, who is at Palm Village on hospice care.

Our Missionary of the Week is Johann Matthies, serving with Multiply as Regional Team Leader for Europe and Central Asia, resourcing Multiply workers and projects in this region. As a member of the ministry team with ICOMB (International Community of Mennonite Brethren), he mobilizes regional and global partners, churches, and schools for world mission. He also serves on Multiply's Global Lead Team. Please pray for Johann in his leadership responsibilities with Multiply and ICOMB, safety in traveling, and outreach to the churches in Ukraine. Praising the Lord with him for new churches that are being planted, teams that are being sent out to serve in Europe, and events like the recent mission festival that encourage people to share their faith and go serve.
