Prayer Line for December 19-22, 2024
"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31
There are many people who are dealing with cancer treatments, other health issues, and many people who have lost loved ones this past year. Pray for God's peace and healing for those in our congregation who are hurting this time of year.
Parkway Ministry Needs - The Parkway Ministry Team is gearing up for their next outreach January 11. They will meet during the day and set up tables and chairs in one of the empty lots to serve cookies, hot cocoa, and miscellaneous items for winter to the people in the area. Last year was a big hit! They had many women (and children) as well as men asking for prayer and great conversations about God. They are looking for the following items: Cookies/Bars (easy to grab single servings) unisex gloves, and warm socks. Please drop off your donations in the church office as soon as possible.
Our Missionaries of the Week is Serve Reedley, a local ministry partnering with RMBC financially and spiritually. There are three parts to Serve Reedley. 1. The Community Resource Network that helps people in the community with different financial needs. 2. The Faith House ministry offers temporary housing for families in need. 3. Love Thy Neighborhood Youth Outreach Program have volunteers that witness to young people.
