Prayer Line for October 23, 2024

"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31

Be in prayer for John George as his mom Mary Anne George had a stroke. She has been moved back to Palm Village on hospice care. Pray for the Lord's peace to be with Mary Anne and the George family during this time.

Be in prayer for George Thiessen as he had a stroke. Pray for a quick and speedy recovery.

Be in prayer for the family of Larry Sloan who passed away this morning. Be in prayer for Larry, his wife Christina, and the rest of Larry's family. Pray for the Lord's peace and comfort to be with his family.

Be in prayer for the family of Barbara Jones as she passed away September 25. Her memorial service will be at Palm Village on Friday October 25 at 10am.

Pray for Brian Peters as Becky Peters passed away. Pray for the Lord's peace to be with Brian, the Weins family and the Peters family. Her memorial service will be at RMBC on Monday October 28, at noon.

Pray for Julia Choy as she saw a surgeon last week and will not need heart surgery. Praise the Lord for that. She also has a mass on one of her kidneys and will have a scan on November 1. Pray for the Lord's peace to be with Julia and Frank as she deals with these health issues.

Be in prayer for Barbara Peters (Hofer) and family. Her oldest son Don Hofer was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Don is Bryan Hofer's older brother. Don has now moved from Denver to Dinuba and began chemo treatments this week. Pray for the Lord's provision as he needs to figure out how to get to his treatments early on Monday mornings.

Be in prayer for the team for going to Peru. Pray for the Lord's leading as they interact with the missionaries and other leaders while they are in Peru. They will be there October 14-23.

Our Missionary of the Week is M and C working in a restricted area in Asia with Team Expansion. They have enjoyed a year long home assignment by spending time in the Central Valley. In September they left the US and flew to Asia to begin their future service. Their vision for their assignment is to share their knowledge about farming and caring for livestock. Pray for them as they share they good news with their neighbors. They thank you for your prayers and support.
