And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31 Congratulations to Curtis and Emily Balakian on the birth of their daughter, Isla Grace, born September 18th. Please pray for continued healing for Jakob Jost as he goes in for his 6 month follow up scans Thursday morning. A memorial service for Glen Ewert and his wife Fran will be held at North Fresno Church on October 4 at 1:30pm. Fran passed away a few weeks before Glen. Be in prayer for Barbara Peters (Hofer) and family. Her oldest son Don Hofer was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Don is Bryan Hofer's older brother. Pray for healing and God's grace as they navigate this news. Prayer for Daniel Hofer as he will be undergoing treatments for a tumor in his eye socket. Our missionary of the week is Terry Zehr, Director of Volunteer Development for Mennonite Disaster Service. MDS’s goal is to restore hope for survivors of disaster. They recruit, organize, and provide opportunities for volunteers to repair and rebuild the home impacted by disasters in Canada and the United States. Attendees have given free will offerings during the last two West Coast Men Chorus concerts. On Monday, September 23, at 7:30pm, MDS is inviting us to come to view their new warehouse in Kingsburg at 2088Avenue “B”. There will be opportunities to hear stories of their accomplishments and how you can be a volunteer for this ministry. Thank you for your support and prayers for this much needed ministry.
