| Prayer Line for August 7, 2024 "If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me." ~Jeremiah 29:13 Pray for the family of Abner Penner. Abner passed away on Sunday, July 28th. His service will be Monday, August 19. Graveside at 9am at the Reedley Cemetery, Memorial at 10am at Palm Village Chapel. Be in prayer for Ron Reimer who is in the hospital in Spokane Washington after suffering a stroke on the way to Don Knaak's wedding. Pray for a complete recovery and for God's peace to be with them. Pray for Julia Choy who has been dealing with lots of pain and recently diagnosed with severe back problems. Julia will see a spine specialist on August 22nd. Pray for Mary June Goosen who is on hospice care. Pray for Kevin Goosen and the rest of Mary June's family during this time. Continue to pray for Liz Oliver as she is on hospice care. Our Missionaries of the Week are Paul and Amber Carter, a married couple leading Projekt Greifswald in East Germany. Mountain View Church in Fresno is the sending agent for the couple and RMBC is partnering to help them financially and spiritually. Reedley MB was Amber’s original home church. Paul comes from East Germany and feels led to share the Gospel with those who do not know Jesus. East Germany is the most atheistic region in the world. Nowhere else do fewer people believe in a god, let alone the God. The Carters have established a church in their apartment building. They have a congregation of thirty for their Sunday services and there is an Alpha program in the middle of the week. Both Amber and Paul invite people to their church when they meet during their day jobs. Paul and Amber want to thank you for your prayers and support.
