| Prayer Line for July 9, 2024 "Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us! What Joy!" ~ Psalm 126:3 Pray for Gordon Turner as he has developed an infection at his pacemaker site and is now in the hospital. Please pray for the Family of Concha (Connie) Gomez who passed away June 21st. There will be a viewing at Reedley Dopkins Chapel Wednesday, July 10, from 3-7pm. Her Memorial Service will be Thursday, July 11, 10 am, in our Sanctuary. Pray for Mary June Goosen who is on hospice care. Pray for Kevin Goosen and the rest of Mary June's family during this time. Pray for Liz Oliver as she is on hospice care. Continue to pray for Carol Ediger who is back home as she continues to heal. Our Missionary of the Week is Ministry on Parkway. Janel Neufeld and Kim Koop, from our church, are leading this ministry. This is a group of committed Christians who have gone out to Parkway Drive in Fresno to talk and to pray with girls and women working the streets. The city of Fresno is improving the living situation at this location by providing low cost housing and making it more family oriented. Because of the change in the Parkway’s landscape, the leaders of this ministry are seeking a new game plan on how they may better invest their efforts toward contacting and praying for girls and women working the street. Let us pray that God will provide them the wisdom and discernment on whether to stay on Parkway or move the ministry to a new location, where they can be the positive influence that plants the seed so these women will seek an alternative lifestyle and will seek to have a personal relationship with Jesus. Pray for more new people to join, especially men. The group will not go out unless there are two men present to accompany them. A training class will be conducted for new and current volunteers interested in joining this ministry. The group thanks you for your prayers and support.
