| Prayer Line for August 11-13, 2023 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. ~ Psalm 103:12 Praying for our People Continue to pray for Jakob Jost. He is the 10 year old son of Matt & Kate Jost and grandson to Sue Peters. He will have surgery August 17th to remove a tumor and his left kidney. Pray for peace for his family and guidance for his medical team. Please pray for the family of Dean Parento. Dean passed away earlier today. Pray for comfort and peace for his wife Lois. Please pray for David Sanchez as he is struggling with high blood pressure. Pray for Sonia as she cares for him. Please continue to pray for Gordon and Yvonne Turner as Gordon has some significant health concerns going on. Missionary of the Week - Carmen Owen, Serving with Multiply. Carmen, who is serving from her base in Wichita, Kansas, is the Naomi House Business and Ministry Liaison. The Naomi House is a community church plant and small business center serving refugee women in an unreached district of Thailand. The women at the Naomi House produce beautiful textile and leather products. There products are sold locally and in the United States and Canada. There is a need for more sewing machines and sewing teachers. There is also a need for a larger facility in which to work and worship. Carmen also works with Siriwan and Wichian Trakunhan, the national partners in Thailand. Pray for them as they continue to reach and disciple new believers in their district. Continue to pray for Carmen that God would provide individuals to join her virtual volunteer team to assist in the business and ministry from a distance.
