| Prayer Line for August 9, 2023 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. ~ Psalm 103:12 Praying for our People The RMBC Lithuania team finished their ministry there on Sunday but, due to weather, missed their connecting flight out of Amsterdam. They hope to fly back today. Please pray for them to get this flight and for their safe return. Be in prayer for Jakob Jost. He is the 10 year old son of Matt & Kate jost and grandson to Sue Peters. He had extensive testing yesterday to determine diagnosis and treatment plan for lingering symptoms he's had all summer. Ask the Lord to give peace and comfort to his parents and wisdom to the medical team. Pray for Dean Parento who has been placed on hospice care. Pray for comfort and peace for Dean and also for his wife Lois. Please pray for David Sanchez as he is struggling with high blood pressure. Pray for Sonia as she cares for him. Please continue to pray for Gordon and Yvonne Turner as Gordon has some significant health concerns going on. Missionary of the Week - Carmen Owen, Serving with Multiply. Carmen, who is serving from her base in Wichita, Kansas, is the Naomi House Business and Ministry Liaison. The Naomi House is a community church plant and small business center serving refugee women in an unreached district of Thailand. The women at the Naomi House produce beautiful textile and leather products. There products are sold locally and in the United States and Canada. There is a need for more sewing machines and sewing teachers. There is also a need for a larger facility in which to work and worship. Carmen also works with Siriwan and WichianTrakunhan, the national partners in Thailand. Pray for them as they continue to reach and disciple new believers in their district. Continue to pray for Carmen that God would provide individuals to join her virtual volunteer team to assist in the business and ministry from a distance.
