Prayer Line for July 5, 2023
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. ~ John 8:36
Praying for our People
Praise God! Eldoris is home and doing well after having two areas of pain treated this morning by Epidural.
Please pray for the family of Anita Anderson who passed away on June 16th. Her graveside service will be Friday, July 14, at 11am, at the Kingsburg Cemetery.
Please pray for Florene Mendel Thiesen who fell and fractured her pelvis. Pray for God's comfort and peace as she is healing.
Missionary of the Week - Johann Matthies, serving with Multiply. Johann is the Regional Team Leader for Europe and Central Asia and travels extensively. Pray for his stamina and physical health as he coordinates the volunteers to help serve many areas of need. Pray especially for those serving in Ukraine. Pray for the volunteers to be able to build deep relationships and to be able to carry the Gospel to those they are helping. On Tuesday, June 6th, the hydroelectric dam on the Dnipro River near Kherson Ukraine was destroyed. Over 100 towns and villages were flooded, displacing tens of thousand of Ukrainians and leaving hundreds of thousand of people without drinking water, impacting agricultural land, and the potential food supply. Within hours aid was mobilized by local churches and Christian humanitarian agencies such as Mission Eurasia overseen by MB Ukraine conference director Roman Rakhuba. Mission Eurasia teams are providing drinking water in truckloads filled with five-liter bottles. Bread and copies of scriptures are provided for comfort and hope. An inflatable boat was purchased to help with the evacuation. Johann sends a huge thank you for your financial help and prayers.
