Prayer Line for June 22, 2023
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. ~Matthew 6:21
Praying for our People
Pray for the leaders and teachers at VBS this week. Many of the children are new to RMBC who are attending. Pray that their families would see and hear the light of the gospel here. Continue to pray for the amazing team of volunteers (130 including kitchen staff) for joy in serving and energy to maintain the enthusiasm. Pray that the children feel and accept the love of Jesus through his people who have shown them Jesus’ love this week. Pray for more children to come to VBS to learn about Jesus and to come back on Sunday mornings. Please join the VBS Prayer Team each night at 6pm in the RMBC Conference Room.
Please pray for the family of Anita Anderson who passed away on June 16th. Her graveside service will be Friday, July 14, at 11am, at the Kingsburg Cemetery.
Congratulations to Jason and Dorothy Peters on the birth of their son, Reid Thomas, born June 8th!
Please pray for Florene Mendel Thiesen who fell and fractured her pelvis. Pray for God's comfort and peace as she is healing.
Missionary of the Week - Paul and Amber Carter, serving in East Germany. Paul and Amber Carter, are leading Projekt Greifswald in East Germany. East Germany is the most atheistic region in the world. The Carters focus will be on relationship building for the purpose of introducing people to Jesus through church planting. They will work in the community with the intention of meeting people. For the first year, they plan to have regular vision nights, Bible study nights, and outreach events to build the church planting team. James Ross, the head of church planting of East Germany, will be with the Carters step-by-step in the church planting process for at least the first three years. Mountain View Church in Fresno is the sending agent for this couple.
