Praying for our People
RMBC has the opportunity to send out two Mission Teams to Lithuania (June 22-July 2 and July 27-August 8) Please pray for people, willing to help children and young adult camps, to step forward and join a small group of 3-5 people for these upcoming mission trips.
Leo Toews is home from the hospital and feeling better. He is grateful for your prayers.
Pray for the family of Sam Bergen. Sam went home to Jesus on Friday, April 14th. His funeral service is being planned for later in May.
Please pray for Carlos Gutierrez and his family as his brother, Adam passed away April 17th. Pray for Adams wife and daughter as well.
Pray also for Anita Anderson who was diagnosed with cancer. Pray for direction as she begins treatment.
Missionary of the Week - Karen & Ricky Sanchez, serving with YWAM Thailand with the Abundant Life Home. ALH was born in Karen's heart to help facilitate their church planting work and to provide care for trafficked and vulnerable populations. Many young children in Thailand have been rescued and saved by Jesus through this dynamic ministry. Young children in Thailand are orphaned due to their parents dying of AIDS and the children themselves are living with HIV. Their Christmas outreaches by the ALH teen worship band helped three churches to reach out to over 1000 people. Pray for the discipling by the local pastors with all the new believers. Ricky has been traveling with the KOB basketball academy.
As a coach, he has fifty young Thai men from all over Thailand. Ricky is thankful for the friendship he has with the Thai coaches who allow him to share the gospel freely with the young men. Pray for Ricky's Global Sports ministry for the basketball athletes going on this summer mission trip. Pray for the team at ALH: Taay, their Thai leader ALH for wisdom, joy and spiritual protection as she serves God; Pastor Fon on taking care of her newborn; Den their guitar teach at ALH, who is open to the gospel these days; Duann, one of the older youth who is applying to do a DTS in Thailand; and Petro for favor as he shares his faith in Christ and prays about getting baptized.
