Praying for our People
Please pray for Sam Bergen who is recovering from cataract surgery on both eyes.
Pray for many volunteers to come forward to help with Children's Ministry and Fall Family Fun Night.
Pray for the family of Pam Goertzen on the death of her mother, Nellie Page. Her memorial service will be tomorrow, Tuesday, October 18th at 3pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Missionary of the Week - M & C Frederiksen, serving in Central Asia with Team Expansion Ministry. One of their ministries is to help expecting parents by using doulas who are students that have the necessary education and skills to facilitate expectant parents be prepared for pregnancy, labor, birth, and parenthood. There is a program in 6 hospitals to train 28 students to become doulas. Pray for the doula students who will be working for their ICEA doula certification. For each of the 6 hospitals that participate, the Frederiksen’s ministry will donate two special anti-shock garments which are life-saving devices for postpartum hemorrhage the #1 cause of maternal mortality worldwide. They are praising God for the beautiful babies, for the couples from their previous birth class, and a new birth series that is underway with six new couples. They are asking for prayer for their doula project and they thank you for your prayers.
