What shall we then say to to these things? If God be for us who can be against us? ~ Romans 8:31
Praying for our People
- We welcome Pastor Jeff Wheeland, his wife, Maggy, Joseph, Caleb, and Faith to our church family. Sundays vote was a 94.7% "yes" vote. Jeff accepted the call from us and will start on August 1st. His first sermon will be August 7th. We are excited to see what opportunities God has for us with his leadership.
- Please pray for Kevin Wall as he recovers from shoulder surgery.
- Pray for the family of Judy Loewen (mother of Susan Murphy) who passed away earlier this week. Services are pending.
- Please pray for Isolde Graumann who is trusting God for healing of some health concerns. Thank you for praying with her.
- Update for Laura, Kim and Howard Goto's daughter and granddaughter of Bob and Marilyn Lewis. Continue to pray for Laura and her family. Laura has been readmitted to the hospital with severe pain. She would really like to go home.
- Pray for Dennis Friesen who is scheduled for surgery on July 25th to have his kidney removed. Pray that all his pre-op appointments go well, there would be no complications with surgery, and he would be cancer free. Thank you so much!
- RiverLife is a great evening of food, fellowship, worship, and message on prayer. Thanks for a great turnout! We will be back TONIGHT!
- Pray Luke 10:2 with us each day at 10:02 am, asking the Lord of the harvest to raise up and send out harvesters from RMBC to His harvest fields."
Missionary of the Week: Carmen Owen, serving with Multiply. Carmen is the Naomi House Business and Ministry Liaison. Naomi House is where at-risk women are employed to produce beautiful textile and leather Products. Carmen asks prayer for the Naomi House families who face opposition in their community, God's zeal to fill the hearts of those baptized, wisdom and clear direction, sales for full sustainability, and resourced to expand Naomi House.
