"Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you..." ~ Philippians 1:27-28
Praying for our People
- Please continue to pray for Jillian Scheenstra, 20 month old daughter of Ryan & Audra Scheenstra, granddaughter of Martin & Carolyn Penner. Jillian was able to eat some yogurt and walked. We praise God for these signs of encouragement. Please continue to pray for her complete recovery and for her parents and grandparents to feel Gods comfort and peace.
- Pray for Rachel Gonzalez and family as she continues with her cancer treatments.
- Pray for Maria Esperanza's health, she has been placed on hospice care.
- Pray for church Council as they determine needs for a Youth Pastor and Senior Pastor. Pray also for those men to hear the call of God to Reedley.
Pray Luke 10:2 with us each day at 10:02 am, asking the Lord of the harvest to raise up and send out harvesters from RMBC to His harvest fields."
Missionary of the Week: Otto and Marjorie Ekk, serving with Multiply Otto and Marjorie are traveling quite a bit, and visiting all the supporting churches as well as individual supporters wherever possible. They ask for prayer for continued strong Christ-centered leadership in the various churches in Portugal, for individuals to make a clear decision to follow Jesus, for the opportunity to share with supporters the many blessings they have experienced, and for more long term missionaries.
