Prayer Line for November 4, 2021
Prayer Line for November 4, 2021"When the wicked rise, people hide themselves, but when they perish, the righteous increase." - Proverbs 28:28
Praying For our People
- From Kirk and Jodi Kawagoe; Our son, Zak, and his wife, Jaclyn, were scheduled to deliver our first grandchild by c-section on Thursday, November 4. At the final prenatal visit on Monday November 1 they learned that their daughter, Penelope Joy, no longer had a heartbeat. This is a devastating blow. It is, by far, the hardest thing we have ever experienced. Jaclyn will still be having the c-section on Thursday. Please pray for our family.
- Pray for Chloe Kersey as she has surgery this Thursday at Valley Children's to remove the hardware in her elbow that was put in place when she broke her arm in February. Pray for her to trust in Jesus through it and for a successful surgery and recovery. Update: Chloe's surgery went well and she is now recovering.
- Pray for Tina, sister of our new custodian Cisco. Tina is undergoing very serious treatments for cancer. Pray for healing and God's peace.
- Pray for the six individuals that were baptized Sunday as they continue to grow in Jesus.
- Pray for Nikki McArron's mom Stacy, as she is going through cancer treatment at City of Hope.
- Be in prayer for Larry Sloan, he is dealing with leg wounds and edema while he has temporarily moved to Sierra view nursing home.
- Continue to pray for Paul Cooper as it looks like he will be coming home soon! Pray for continuing restored health and strength.
- Continue to pray for Mark Kistler; praise God he finally has a new knee! He will continue antibiotic treatment from home. Pray for the pain and discomfort to lessen.
- Pray for Rachel Gonzalez and family as she continues with her cancer treatments. Rachel also had some radiation treatments recently.
Praying for Our Nation and World
Continue to pray for health care workers, first responders, law enforcement, firefighters, and those who serve and protect in turbulent times. Pray for their families to know God’s peace and provision.
Missionaries of the Week: Ron and Bonnie Thiesen serving with YWAM in Budapest, Hungary. Pray for Ron and Bonnie as they grieve recent losses in their lives. Ron’s mother Martha Thiesen went to the Lord on September 24, and Bonnie’s father, Bob Kingsbury, went home to the Lord on October 11. Pray for them as they grieve. Pray also as Ron and Bonnie walk with their children through various stages of life. Jessica and Nicole are seniors at college, Joshua is a college sophomore, and Charissa is a junior in high school. Pray also for opportunities to share Christ as Ron and Bonnie teach their classes.
