Prayer Line update for November 1, 2026
"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31
Praise God for the birth of Haven Danae Scomona, born to John and Stormie Scomona on Friday. Pray for them as they adjust to life with a newborn baby girl!
Pray for Paul Castillo who has been having pain in his knees. Pray for his healing and recovery, and for the doctors as they meet with him to discuss treatment on Wednesday.
Pray for Vivian Swiney as she fell while traveling and broke her shoulder. Pray for a smooth and comfortable flight on Wednesday and for a speedy doctor appointment once she returns home.
Pray for Marjorie Elrich as she is now back at Palm Village in the health center. Pray for her strength and recovery, and for her husband Calvin as he stands by her side.
Missionary of the Week
From Pablo and Maricela Chavez: As we near the end of the first year of our second term in Peru, we are grateful for new opportunities to support Peruvian MB churches and walk alongside pastors and their families through our “pastoring the pastors” role. We are also thankful that funding for the Vichayal church building project has reached 90%, and construction is progressing—a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness and renewal. Please pray for our relationship with the new conference board, the completion of the building project and the remaining 10% of funding, and the ACTION team arriving in mid-November to help with construction. Thank you for your continued prayers and support! Thank you for standing with us in prayer and partnership.
