Prayer Line update for August 31, 2026
"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31
Pray for the family of Gretel Warkentin as Gretel went home to be with the Lord Sunday morning. Pray God's peace and comfort for the family during this difficult time.
Continue to pray for God's peace and comfort for the family of Dennis Friesen as Dennis recently went home to be with the Lord. The memorial service for Dennis will be September 12 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel High School, with "Papa's Cookout" BBQ following the service. Pray for Colleen and the entire family during this difficult time.
Pray for Gloria Friesen as she underwent another cardioversion procedure today (Monday).
Pray for Eddie and Verona Neufeld's son George who is facing some medical challenges.
Pray for Mike and Barbara Hofer's son, John who had a heart attack and had three stents put in. Pray for his recovery at home, that he will get the rest he needs, and for his wife and family during this time.
We praise God for His protection over Pastor Raymy Krumrei who was in a car accident last week. We praise God that he has no broken bones, but does have a torn ligament or two in his shoulder. Pray for his recovery and pain management, and for the peace of God for both him and his wife Jennifer during this time.
Pray for Janet Warkentin's recovery as she underwent cyberknife treatments on 2 benign tumors last week.
Missionary of the Week
Missionaries Ron and Bonnie Thiessen from YWAM celebrate a successful school year, including the baptisms of three seniors, particularly Nasim, a Syrian-Hungarian student. After 14 years, they are downsizing and recently welcomed their first grandchild, Shepherd Jude, in Ohio. They will be based in Cedarville this fall, engaging in YWAM initiatives and visiting supporters, including plans for Reedley in January. Praise and Prayer: Thank God for a healthy delivery and pray for our daughter Nicole and her husband Jeremy. Praise God for His work in seniors' lives, especially Nasim. Pray for wisdom in parenting young-adult children. Please pray for fruitful YWAM ministry this fall. Thank you.
