Prayer Line for August 27-30, 2026

"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31

Pray for Mike and Barbara Hofer's son, John who had a heart attack on Monday and had three stents put in.  Pray for his recovery at home, that he will get the rest he needs, and for his wife and family during this time.  

We praise God for His protection over Pastor Raymy Krumrei who was in a car accident Monday morning.  We praise God that he has no broken bones, but does have a torn ligament or two in his shoulder.  Pray for his recovery and pain management, and for the peace of God for both him and his wife Jennifer during this time.

Pray for Janet Warkentin as she undergoes cyberknife treatments on 2 benign tumors this week, Monday through Thursday.  

Pray for Gloria Friesen as she recovers from a cardioversion procedure.

Pray for the family of Dennis Friesen as Dennis went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for the comfort and peace of God for his wife Colleen, their children Andy, Robyn, and Allison and their families, and the entire extended family during this very difficult time.  The memorial service for Dennis will be September 12 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel High School,  with "Papa's Cookout" BBQ following the service.  

As Catherine leaves for Asia as a Global Partner, she would appreciate your prayers for her. Please pray that she will continually know His word, that she will glorify God through encouraging local brothers and sisters in Christ, and that she will share and demonstrate the gospel boldly and confidently. Pray for wisdom, discernment, courage, steadfast strength and dependence on the Lord as she works with orphans with a wide range of disabilities and with the caregivers and staff to support their physical needs. Also pray for her during these transitions, continual language learning, health, and safety.
