Prayer Line for August 18, 2026
"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31
Pray for the family of Dennis Friesen as Dennis went home to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning. Pray for the comfort and peace of God for his wife Colleen, their children Andy, Robyn, and Allison and their families, and the entire extended family during this very difficult time.
Pray for the family and friends of Sharon Fulcher, as Sharon recently went home to be with the Lord. Pray for the Lord's peace and comfort during this difficult time.
The service for Roger Wall will be August 22 at 10:00 AM at Smith's Ferry Park in Reedley, located at the corner of Olson and Reed.
Praise God for His healing for Jonathan Hofer following surgery. The Hofer family is so thankful for the church body who lifted their family up in prayer, and for the answered prayers of healing and recovery for Jonathan.
Continue to pray Dennis Fast as he recovers from a heart ablation.
Continue to pray for Joella Reimer who is recovering from a pacemaker procedure.
Continue to pray for Sandy Marshall's mom, Kathleen Heinrichs as she recovers from a stroke. We praise God that she is improving as she has been able to speak and is getting stronger.
Kathy Thiessen and her grandson Owen would like to thank the church for praying for him and his team with YWAM earlier this year. They were sent to Africa and South America on outreaches and had amazing experiences there sharing Jesus and encouraging other nationals to consider full time missions. He returned to the Norway base August 5th for a 2 year commitment as a leader for new teams. Please pray for spiritual and physical protection and for a tremendous time of growth.
Please pray for our Tonya Goertzen, Action Program Mobilizer
Tonya is completing her first year serving with Multiply, planning short-term trips and mobilizing missionaries. She is grateful for the opportunities to build relationships with missionaries, connect with churches, and see how the Lord is working through the global church.
In November, she will be leading a team to Peru to serve with the Chavez family. The team would greatly appreciate your prayers for our team unity, financial support, and effective ministry opportunities. Please pray that the Lord of the harvest will continue to send out workers for His glory.
