Prayer Line for June 1, 2026
"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31
Let us also remember the words of Ephesians 3:21, which proclaims the main purpose of the church: "To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
Pray for the family of Johnny Buhler as Johnny went home to be with the Lord Thursday night, May 28. Pray that the Lord's peace and comfort would surround his wife Maryann and their family during this difficult time.
Continue to pray for the family of Dan Ascanio, as Dan recently went home to be with the Lord. Pray especially for his wife Pam, and his daughters Anna and Sadie and their husbands and families during this very difficult time of loss.
Pray for Rachel Boldt who is at Palm Village, recovering from surgery on her right hip.
Pray for Anna Marie Friesen as she will have surgery on her leg following a break of her her tibia and fibula while on a hike.
Pray for Jeff Noorigian as he recovers from surgery on his humerus as well as from some fractures on his vertebrae.
Pray for Teymour Farhang who is recovering from open heart surgery in Stanford. Teymour is brother-in-law to Steve and Lisa Ebiner. Pray for his recovery, and for his wife Susan as she stands by his side.
Pray for Kathy Thiessen's grandson Owen as he finishes up with the YWAM team outreach in South America next week. They will return to the Norway base to debrief and receive a little more training, and he will fly home about mid June. He has been blessed knowing our church has been praying for him and his team!
Wanda and Dan Doerksen would like to thank the body of Christ for the prayers and support for Dan over the past 5 months. They are convinced God's healing touch and His people's prayers made the difference in Dan's healing. His recovery is not yet complete, but they are so thankful and blessed to be this far along. God is good!
The Chavez family has been back in Peru for four months. Please keep them in your prayers as Joshua and Samuel start a new school year and adapt to life with Isaac living away from home. They are actively partnering with local churches, supporting ministries, and fostering relationships through hospitality and community engagement. Maricela is dedicating more time to women’s ministry and is planning a women’s retreat in November. Please pray for Isaac's transition to college and for God's provision of a reliable vehicle within budget.
