Prayer Line for April 2-5, 2026
"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31
Pray for the family of Sonia Sanchez who went home to be with the Lord today (Thursday). Pray for the Lord's peace and comfort for her daughters Emily and Ashley and their family during this difficult time of loss.
Praise God that Brad Fast has been released from the hospital in San Fransisco. Pray for him as he continues to recover from surgery.
Praise God for the birth of Violet Joy, born to Micah and Brittney Thiesen. Brittney’s parents are Anthony and Sheri Balakian. Pray for Micah and Brittney as they adjust to life with a newborn.
Pray for Doug Fowler as he is in the hospital. Pray for his continued recovery and strength, and for his wife Ruth as she stands by his side.
Pray for Josh and Trista Brown and their family as Trista has begun chemotherapy for breast cancer. Pray for her and their family as she undergoes treatment and as they go through this difficult time as a family.
Continue to pray for Sharon Fulcher who is recovering at Palm Village and welcomes short visits from friends.
Pray for the family of Jacob Hiebert, who recently went home to be with the Lord. Pray for God's comfort and peace during this difficult time.
Continue to pray for Immanuel School as they grieve the passing of Gio, a freshman student who recently passed away. Pray for Gio's family during this very difficult time, and pray for the staff and students at Immanuel. Gio's memorial service was held last week at RMBC, and we praise God that several people called on Jesus for salvation!
Praise God for His working in the life of Marlan Huebert, as there is currently no detectable cancer in his body! Continue to pray for him as he regains strength from his surgery.
Praise God that the tumor on Jason and Brittney Nix's daughter, Rylee's right lung is benign. Doctors will continue to monitor her, but we rejoice that Rylee is doing well. Rylee is granddaughter to Diana Nix.
We are looking forward to celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ at our Easter Service this coming Sunday. It will be a time of rejoicing as we worship our risen King, and a time of celebration as several people will be baptized. Join us at 9:00 AM for the service with fellowship and cafe following.
Missionary of the Week:
Our Missionaries of the Week are Tomas and Melody Vidal, serving with Multiply. They are the directors of the Matthew Training Center in Guadalajara, Mexico and serve alongside a team to train disciples and leaders to share the gospel. Here are some of their prayer requests:
1. HADIME Rooted program from July to December. We have some people signed up, but are looking for more participants. Corinna from Canada is here learning Spanish hoping to be fluent enough and raise enough finances for the program in July.
2. HADIME Mas program the first 3 weeks in July. Enrique and Jocelyn have been leaders in training the last couple of years and will be running the program along with 3 other leaders in training. They are off to a good start in the planning stages.
3. Tomas in his studies-year 2 of his master’s degree. May it be a great blessing to the Matthew Training Center and our church conference.
4. Praise God for providing a new 15 passenger van!
5. Raising up new leaders. For Samuel starting seminary this year. Sandra and Didier, missionaries who initially came as volunteers, are leading the 6 month discipleship program with us this year. Pray for discernment for them as they decide what is next for them in 2027, whether continuing at Matthew Training Center or serving elsewhere.
