Prayer Line for December 23-28, 2025

"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31

Pray for those whose family members have gone home to be with the Lord.  Pray Bob Dick and their family as Jean Dick recently went home to be with the Lord.  There will be a memorial service for Jean on January 5 at 10:00 AM at Palm Village.

Continue to pray God's comfort and peace for Gwenn Boldt and the family as Lowell recently went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for others as well who have recently lost loved ones, as the holiday season can be a particularly difficult time.

Praise God that Josh Brown's brain MRI showed no active signs of cancer!  This is the first time in 23 months that Josh does not have any signs of active cancer!  We praise God for His healing hand in Josh!  Continue to pray for Josh and his family as doctors will follow up with him in 2 months.

Pray for Dan Doerksen (wife Wanda, daughter Joanne Willems). He had an accident at his truck yard with some equipment and broke both legs just above the ankles and has a pelvic fracture. He is waiting for his 3rd surgery, then he'll have a long recovery. Pray for pain management and recovery, and for those caring for him.

Pray for Mariana Chavez who requested prayer for her aunt who is recovering from a heart procedure, and hopes to be home with family soon.

Pray for Janet Laemmlen as she recovers from breast cancer surgery.

Pray for Dennis Regier who is in the Heart Hospital and will have triple by-pass surgery.  Pray for strength and a successful operation.

Pray for Marjie Harms as she is recovering from knee surgery.

Pray for David Sloan's close friend Brett, who was in a serious car accident and has undergone surgery.  Pray for his continued recovery.

Pray for Joyce Pinkard as she continues to recover from knee surgery.

Pray for J.C. Boldt who is home and continuing in treatment.  Pray for the doctors as they continue to run tests, and for J.C. to heal and regain strength.

Pray for Bob Hilts who will be preaching for evangelistic crusades in eight cities of Guatemala, December 23 through January 6.  He will be preaching and his grandson Zac David will be performing on his guitar.  Pray for a great harvest of new believers as 500 to 1,500 people will come each night in eight different venues sponsored by about 500 churches.

Our Missionaries of the Week are Ron and Bonny Thiesen, serving with YWAM in the International Christian School of Budapest. Recently two of their Ukraine students became Christians and were baptized. A Japanese atheist student has started going to their church youth group and the gospel is being shared with her. Please pray for her salvation. The Thiesen’s are in their last week of school before break and will be celebrating Christmas with Charissa and Josh which they are very excited about. The twins and their husbands will not be able to make it because of work schedules. Please pray for their ministry and their family.
