Prayer Line for October 6, 2025

"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31

Please be in prayer for several families who have recently lost loved ones:

Pray for Todd Sorenson and the family as Todd's mother Audrey Ripley went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 4.  Pray for the Lord's peace and comfort during this time.

Pray for Tom Suttles and his sister Donna Romer and their family as their mother Nina Suttles went home to be with the Lord last week.  The graveside service will be October 16 at 10:00 AM at the Reedley Cemetery.

Continue to pray for Jerry and Tanya Jones as Tanya's mother Betty went home to be with the Lord.  Pray for comfort and strength for the entire family during this time.

Pray for continued comfort for Nat and Donna Dee Weems as her sister recently went home to be with the Lord.

The family of Gary Gerbrandt appreciates continued prayers for comfort, and for the upcoming memorial service for Gary on October 23 at 10:30 AM at RMBC.

Pray for Don Hofer who will have a PET scan on Wednesday.

Pray for Mark Kistler who is recovering from surgery on his elbow, wrist, and thumb on his right arm.

Continue to pray for Shane Pinkard who is waiting to be scheduled to have a wire replaced in his heart.

Our Missionary of the Week is Carmen Owen. Carmen continues to serve the Naomi House ministry, a social entrepreneur and discipleship center for at-risk women in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Alongside our Thai partners, Siriwan and Wichian, she hopes to bring restoration to women and families coming out of trafficking and difficult situations, providing them with fair wage work and Christian community. Praise Jesus for the growing church gathering in their midst, as several of the women’s husbands have become Christians and are learning how to follow Jesus in weekly worship gatherings. Pray for the children of the women to grow strong in Jesus, despite many of the same temptations and difficult patterns that impacted their mothers. We invite your prayers as Carmen, Siriwan, Wichian, and their daughter Meena (7), travel this Fall, sharing about God’s goodness to Naomi House.
