Prayer Line for September 8, 2025
"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31
Praise the Lord that Carol Ediger has been released from the hospital. Pray for complete recovery and strength.
Gary Gerbrandt has been hospitalized with several health issues. Pray for his recovery at Clovis Community Hospital.
Pray for Audrey Ripley, Todd Sorensen's mother, who continues to be hospitalized with complications.
Our Missionary of the Week is Tomas and Melody Vidal, serving at the Matthew Training Center in Guadalajara, Mexico. Tomas and Melody give leadership to the team with the focus of making disciples and training leaders. Matthew Training Center currently has 10 Latino young adults in the Hadime program that are being trained and equipped through classroom teaching, practical service, and experience with indigenous people groups. When the 6 month program is over, these students will be prepared to serve God in churches, as missionaries, and in cross-cultural ministries. The Matthew Training Center team also leads spiritual retreats for pastors, workers, and church leaders for the purpose of drawing them closer to God. Please pray for Tomas and Melody as they lead all the activities at Matthew Training Center. Pray that the lives of the Hadime students will be deeply formed and rooted in Jesus and that each one will encounter the Lord in a special and much needed way. Some need to know Jesus personally and experience a growing relationship with him, some need restored family relationships, some need healing from deep wounds, and some need direction.
