Prayer Line for August 18, 2025
"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31
Pray for Audrey Ripley, Todd Sorensen's mother, who continues to be hospitalized with complications.
Pray for Jean Penner undergoing tests for internal bleeding at Community Hospital. The family requests no visitors at this time.
Our Missionaries of the Week are Gediminas and Kristina, who live and serve in Lithuania. More than 74% of the population identifies as Catholic. One of the biggest areas of ministry for their church is summer camp ministry. In June, they held children’s camps where 17 children accepted Christ. This past week, their teen camps came to a close and 4 teenagers accepted Christ. Please pray that their
camps will continue to be a powerful evangelistic tool, a place where they invest in future leaders, and where God continues to raise up new disciples of Christ for His Kingdom. Please pray as they preach the Gospel, see people discover life in Christ, have an annual evangelical Alpha course, and that God would show them more people in Vilnius who He wants to save. Four people have recently
decided that they want to be baptized. Also pray for a Bible study group and their leaders 20 miles from Vilnius. We see this as an opportunity to plant a church there in the future. Their church wants to start day camp next summer (somewhat like VBS). Pray for help and that God would lead them into that program with peace and clarity. They are currently looking for a new place for their growing
church. Please pray that God would clearly guide them — where to go and when to move.
