Prayer Line for July 24-27, 2025
"So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied." - Acts 9:31
Congratulations for Cisco and Amber Paredez on the birth of their daughter, Arya Psalm, born July 8th, sisters are Eliza and Ivy Paredez.
Pray for Marlan Huebert as he goes through a series of treatments for cancer. Pray for great results and God's healing upon Marlan.
Dwight and Carol Turner are grateful for your prayers as Carol gains strength. An additional request would be to secure an appointment with the Oak Haven Diabetes Center in Visalia in a timely manner.
Ellen Janzen went to be with the Lord July 8. Services are set for July 31 with the burial at 9:30 and the celebration of life at 10:30 at Palm Village. Pray for her daughters Bev Klassen and Patty Thiesen and their families.
Rejoice and praise God that Ken and Patty Thiesen were able to return to their home after approximately four months in the Stanford area. All markers look good for Ken following his bone marrow transplant.
Praise the Lord that the SOAR event at Reedley MB went well Tuesday evening. An overflow crowd filled the Student Center for the evangelistic message by artist Faith Escabedo. SOAR Central Valley concludes Thursday.
Please pray for Josh Brown, Kelly Gilmore's son-in-law, as he undergoes five weeks of chemo and radiation treatments at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Pray that issues with insurance will be resolved soon.
Our missionaries of the week will be three separate teams, S.O.A.R. Central Valley, the Thailand Team, and Janelle Wood. Soar Central Valley will have Jake Goertzen, a Multiply intern for the summer, as their leader. The team members will include Edier, Tonya, Samarha, Nancy, Roman, Vianna, Alice, Natalia and Elijah. On Tuesday, July 22, a Soar Reedley Outreach Event will take place at Reedley MB from 6-9pm. Soar Mission participants will be inviting our town to a youth and family event consisting of games, food, artwork, and sharing the gospel. Pray that this outreach event will build stronger and closer relationships between churches. The Thailand group, with Vince Balakian as its leader, will be traveling from July 20-29 to raise awareness about missionary opportunities. The team is from Vince’s Sunday school class: Allison Kroeker, Aylah Roberts, Isaak Ensz, and Tyler Friesen. These young members are all going on their first trip outside the United States. Pray for the team’s protection during their trip and that they would be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit as they minister and work alongside the people in Thailand. Janelle Wood, who will be moving back to the Dominican Republic, working at a private Christian school teaching Kindergarten. She is excited to start her first year of teaching and to reconnect with other people she knows there through Students International. Pray for safe travels for everyone. They thank you for your prayers and financial support.
