Praying for our People
Please pray for the family of Robert Baptista, as he went home to the Lord Monday. Pray for God's peace and comfort for his children, Hannah, Zack, Jordan, and the rest of his family. His Memorial Service will be Wednesday, May 24th, at 3pm, in the RMBC Sanctuary.
Pray for Jake Goertzen and the Multiply team that is in a restricted access country May 19-30. Pray for protection as well as an effective witness through this team of young adults.
Pray for the family of Sam Bergen. Sam went home to Jesus on Friday, April 14th. His Memorial Service is today, at 2:30pm in the Sanctuary.
Missionary of the Week - Dereck and Amanda Thompson, serving with Multiply. The Thompsons have recently completed the Multiply Focus Internship program with the Thailand Team in Chonburi. They will be in Canada for two weeks of debriefing to process their experience and discern about future ministry opportunities. They will return to California to share all the great ways that God has used them in Thailand. They learned so much living among the many unreached in Thailand and were blessed with many wonderful experiences that will change their lives forever. Special relationships were made with the people in the small town of Phan Thong and there were many opportunities to work alongside many of the Thai National leaders. The Thompsons ask prayer for discernment for their next ministry opportunity. They thank you so much for your support and prayers for the Thai nation as well as for their family.
