Praying for our People
Please pray for the family of Robert Baptista, as he went home to the Lord Monday. Pray for God's peace and comfort for his children, Hannah, Zack, Jordan, and the rest of his family. His Memorial Service will be Wednesday, May 24th, at 3pm, in the RMBC Sanctuary.
Pray for Jake Goertzen and the Multiply team that is in a restricted access country May 19-30. Pray for protection as well as an effective witness through this team of young adults.
Pray for the family of Sam Bergen. Sam went home to Jesus on Friday, April 14th. His Memorial Service will be Monday, May 22nd at 2:30pm in the Sanctuary.
Missionary of the Week - Bianca Vega, Serving with Multiply. Bianca has a desire to be a missionary since attending RMBC as a child. Currently, she is attending school in Curitiba, Parana, in Brazil. This one year program is preparing her to do missionary work. Theological training will come from pastors and through her participation in working in different churches in the Mennonite colonies teaching about the importance of missionary work. Her goal is to educate the local students on the importance of missionary work and to share the gospel to unbelievers. Pray for her safety in Brazil, for people’s hearts to be softened and open to God’s words. And for the people ministering to remember that it is not they who save others, but Christ. She is so excited to see what God has in store for her and how He will use her to honor and glorify His name. Bianca thanks you for your prayers and support.
