Prayer Line for August 1, 2019

Praying for Our People
- Be in prayer for the Obrero family. Patty, Catherine, and Emi were involved in a car accident earlier this week. Emi was not hurt, Catherine had some cuts and bruises, but Patty is still in the hospital. Patty is asking for prayer, but would not like visitors at this time.

- Pray for Doug Fowler who has been recently admitted to the hospital three times dealing with a health issue.

- Pray for Ralph Rosedale, diagnosed with cancer and undergoing radiation treatment. Pray for guidance and Ralph’s pain management as they also look for other options.

- Continued prayer for Kaleb Perry, son of Kevin and Mandy Perry, as he continues in his recovery from a kidney transplant several weeks ago. Things have been going very well recently.

- Continued prayer for Jackie Horn and her recovery. Pray for a downstairs apartment to open so she can transition care back home.

- Continued pray for Sharon Hilts and Bob as they make decisions for Sharon’s future. Pray for continued grace, wisdom, and strength for Sharon, Bob, and family.

- Continued prayer for Miss Irene, Chapter One teacher. Miss Irene continues to make progress. Pray that her body would respond positively to treatment and pray for her healing. Pray also for God’s peace and strength for her husband.

- Praise God, Annie Sawatzky is doing better and has moved back home to Sierra View. Pray for her continued recovery.

- Rubena Ewell went home to the Lord, Saturday, July 27. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 14 at 10 am at Palm Village. Pray for God’s comfort and grace for Rubena’s friends and family


Praying for Our Ministries
Missionaries of the Week: Selma Church Plant. Continue to pray for the church plant in Selma. Pray for the church’s witness in the community and for hearts to be open to the gospel. Pray for energy and perseverance to face weekly challenges. Pray for safety and victory against community gang activity.

Praise God for four students from High School camp that prayed to receive Jesus! Please continue to pray as they now begin to grow in Christ.

MISSIONS Fund Raiser – This Friday, August 2!! A donation dinner will be held from 6-7 pm serving Chili Dogs and Frito boats. At 7 pm we’ll show the movie The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan, in the Student Center Auditorium.

Pray Luke 10:2 with us each day at 10:02 am, asking the Lord of the harvest to raise up harvesters for His harvest fields.
